John Paul's 1st Birthday!

We celebrated John Paul's 1st birthday a few weeks ago with family and a few friends. He had a good time playing and really enjoyed his first cake! (Thanks to Granny Faith for making such a cute, delicious cake!) We don't really have a picture of him covered in cake because he didn't really dive in and make a big mess!

All of John Paul's immediate family (minus Uncle Stephen and Uncle Scott)

He really didn't mind being the center of attention! He could stand and clap all day!

The day before, Paul and I took John Paul to Toys R Us. This is what you find if you leave them alone for a few seconds:

I'm a little slow at posting, but better late than never. Here are a few pictures from our time with the Cherry's and with my family in Waco:

Christmas Card rejects!

For weeks, I have attempted to capture the perfect photo for our Christmas card. Here are some of the rejects:

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with Paul's family then headed to Waco for a little time with my family. John Paul loved the turkey, dressing, potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce!

Granny got out his Christmas present --hope he doesn't remember!

All the boys!

After a long Turkey day:

John Paul and his crazy cousins, Bailey and Abby.

Where's John Paul??

Since John Paul has really started to move, we have found him in quite a few places:
