Mother's Day Weekend

We spent the weekend in Waco with my family to celebrate Mother's Day. Not only am I blessed with the world's best son, but I'm also blessed to have amazing examples surrounding me. I thank God daily for my Mom, Grammy, and sisters!

Bath Time

Last night as we were getting ready for our bath, John Paul responded to himself in the mirror for the first time. We tried to catch a few of the smiles on camera but as usual, when he sees the camera the smiles turn to blank stares! Anyway, here a few cute shots of bath time fun!

1st Family Retreat

We went to the HEB camp this past weekend for our church retreat. John Paul did great with the traveling and sleeping away from home (probably better than his parents did!) Anyway, we look forward to many years and memories at the retreat.

I just love watching John Paul sleep in the car with his chubby cheeks and cute lips!

We spent the first part of the week in Dallas visiting friends and family. Because I'm the worlds worst at remembering to take pictures, we only have one to show:

Today we went to Paul's church league basketball game and stopped for a few photos in the bluebonnets. ( Maybe we will take the camera to church tomorrow so we can get a few of Paul without his basketball jersey.)

More Smiles!

So maybe we are a little obsessed with our little man's smile. I could spend hours making him smile and laugh. He was in a particularly happy mood tonight so I wanted to share his precious grins. ( I'll try to catch in on video for next time!)
